Cyber Solution Specialist (Pre/Post-Sales)

We may be a startup, but we’ve been doubling our growth year over year. What’s our secret? The amazing people we hire keep going way beyond what we hired them to do. Without being asked! A month or two after onboarding, they say things like, “Wouldn’t it be interesting if we [insert amazing idea here]?” or “Huh, that’s a cool solution, I bet we could [insert amazing idea here] with it!”. And the next thing you know, we are off to the races with new technology, new approaches, new capabilities to offer our partners.

We’re currently looking for a Cyber Solution Specialist (Pre/Post-Sales) to join our team. RockITek’s Customer Success Team is responsible for moving the sales process forward by understanding customer challenges, designing appropriate solutions, and executing delivery that results in customer satisfaction. This position will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and applying cost-effective solutions to solve complex customer problems; contribute content; prepare and perform technical demonstrations, protoypes, support, and guidance; and installing solutions, providing training, and providing technical support as needed.

The Cyber Solution Specialist‘s Top Four Responsibilities will be:

1. Identify specific opportunities where our cybersecurity portfolio and our partners can jointly deliver increased value in underserved markets.

2. Foster relationships with our vendor partner’s technical teams.

3. Design, architect, and install technical solutions from our portfolio.

4. Conduct demos our cybersecurity solutions to Customers, and develop cybersecurity statements of work.

Cloud Developer

We’re currently looking for a Cloud Developer that lives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, pure cloud development, and DevSecOps to join our team.

We want someone who wants to push the limits of what is possible in cloud today.

We established RockITLabs to aggregate innovative technical features to design and build value-added, serverless cloud-native solutions in cybersecurity market whitespaces. Our solutions leverage serverless cloud technologies and our FedRAMP Cloud Security Platform to securely, rapidly, and cost effectively launch new solutions.

Working with the Chief Cyber Advisor, this position will use their AWS infrastructure, software development and DevSecOps skills to code, test, validate and support cloud products. This includes creating and maintaining cloud DevSecOps systems and processes; creating hybrid cloud and on-premises automation workflows using AWS native services; working collaboratively with our partners to bring cloud products to market; and assisting in developing the technical and API guides for cloud products.

 

Reporting to the Chief Cyber Advisor and collaborating with our partners, the Cloud Developer’s Top Three Responsibilities will be to:

  1. Become RockITek’s Developer and DevSecOps expert with AWS cloud native services
  2. Lead the software engineering of cloud products for RockITek
  3. Develop innovative Infrastructure as Code models for product deployment, focused on customer experience.
