ATARC – The Case for Data Stewardship for Zero Trust

We have collectively spent billions globally on networks and architectures to defend something. We continue to implement more and more advanced and complex capabilities with the tendency to disrupt our business operations and customer experience all in the name of what? Its ok you can say it, really go ahead, “The Data.”

Members and viewers of the ATARC Zero trust Presentation were treated to an enlightening conversation that looked to invert the problem which is don’t lose the data. By automating your data policies to find, classify, and protect persistently you reduce your costs, complexity, and risk in less than 30 days with a keystone implementation. All of the hoops, bells, and whistles haven’t stopped the losses because today most organizations have not persistently protected their data assets.

This is not a mountain to climb it’s a decision to no longer be a target and defend the most important asset the data.

Earlier last week ATARC had the opportunity to hear from Mark Emery and BG Gary Connor, from The Emery Group, on their published white paper, The Case for Data Stewardship and Zero Trust. Check out this recorded presentation, including opening remarks from Gerald Caron, below.
