RockITek is thrilled to announce that Joe Sturonas has joined the company as its Chief Technical Advisor. In this newly-created role, Joe will collaborate with RockITek’s partners and customers to develop new solutions for emerging security threats in the government space and beyond.
“Joe is one of the most well-known and well-respected technologists in the industry, and we feel extremely fortunate to have him on our team,” said RockITek CEO John Sobczak. “His expertise will be essential as we work to define the best strategies and technologies to meet tomorrow’s security challenges.”
RockITek helps federal agencies, military commands, and other government organizations manage security risks using advanced technology like passwordless authentication, automated encryption, and continuous attack simulation. When new technologies are used to counteract new threats, the right approach isn’t always known in advance. That’s where Joe Sturonas comes in.
Joe has more than 30 years of experience developing solutions to complex technological challenges, and he’s helped protect some of the world’s most sensitive systems and data. Prior to joining RockITek, he spent 16 years as Chief Technology Officer for PKWARE, where he helped hundreds of organizations—including federal agencies and some of the world’s largest banks—implement encryption, compliance, and data management solutions. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a Master’s of Science degree in computer science from DePaul University, and we should all feel lucky that he’s on our side!
