PKWARE and RockITek Awarded Pilot for Multi-Level Data Protection

RockITek was awarded a contract to Pilot PKWARE’s Smartcrypt solution to provide multi-level data protection in classified environment. The PKWARE solution provides a data-centric approach to protecting this Agency’s critical information, instead of relying on physical networks and homegrown management tools.

The Smartcrypt Pilot is the first phase of an enterprise deployment expected to save the Agency millions in operating and maintenance (O&M) annually, minimize costly capital expenditures for infrastrcutre refreshes, and improve user productivity that was previously spent going between multiple screens to do their job.

The solution includes Boldon James for data classification and deploys the PKWARE Enterprise Manager as a physical appliance, gaining the benefits of QuintessenceLabs’ quantum random number generation and HSM capabilities.
