RockITek and the Emery Group are collaborating with PKWARE to present a webinar series over the coming weeks on Responsible Data Stewardship. The series is hosted by Mark Emery, former Deputy CIO of the Department of Homeland Security and Managing Partner of The Emery Group.

This weekly webinar series will take a 360-degree view of data: from ownership to compliance; from data generation to competitive advantage; from data confidence to data humiliation. Starting from an overview of Data Stewardship in the first webinar, the series also touches on some of the major data stewardship topics of 2020: Capability Maturity Model for Cyber (CMMC) is now required to be a DoD contractor; Sharing Data with Trusted Third Parties (from M&A to enabling electronic healthcare); securely enabling Telework in the age of social distancing; implementing true Zero Trust security; protecting High Value Assets is the next wave for CDM, and finally, staying off the front page of the Washington Post.

In the first of seven sessions, Brigadier General Gary Connor (ret.) Partner of the Emery Group and Joe Sturonas, Chief Technology Officer of PKWARE will discuss why Data Stewardship must be an Executive strategy, the principle elements of Data Stewardship, and how competitive organizations implement Data Stewardship. Their discussion will be followed by a short demonstration of one policy platform that data stewards can use to automate the principles of data stewardship in their organizations.
